Yes, I realize it has been MONTHS since I posted something... Internship has taken over my life...until NOW. Today was the last day of school before Christmas break. I needed a break sooo badly! I can finally find some time to do things other than school/internship related....
So onto what this blog is really about.... Bailey and Avery!
Bailey is almost 5 years old! The other day she said, "Mommy, when will I be grown up?" I told her it will be a long time! But she will be 5 in just 3 months. She is very excited about turning 5 and cannot wait for Kindergarten!
Of course, right now she is super-excited about Christmas. She wants anything related to princesses and Tinkerbell.
Avery is 20 months old! I can't believe it! She loves to do anything that Bailey does and gets so frustrated if she can't! She is interested in playing with baby dolls now. She loves to carry around the same one (GiGi) that was Bailey's favorite. She likes to pat them on the back and "feed" them.
Last weekend Bryan and I took Bailey to Silver Dollar City with Sheri to see the Christmas lights. Avery stayed home with Grandpa Michel. It was really really cold and it rained off and on all day, but we had a lot of fun! (I will post some pictures--I'm on the laptop right now and don't have the pics on here.)
On Dec. 5 we went on the Christmas train ride in Springdale. This was the first train ride for Bailey and Avery. My mom, Michel, Bryan, Bailey, Avery and I had a great time. We sang Christmas songs with Santa and just had some good family time together.
On Monday, I am going to take Bailey to see The Princess and the Frog. She can't wait. Back in November, Bryan and I took Bailey to see Where the Wild Things Are. This was the first movie since I took her the summer she was 3. We only stayed for 30 minutes because she said it was too loud and started crying. This time she sat through the whole movie and only asked once when it would be over. (I don't blame her, the movie was not all that great!) I am SURE The Princess and the Frog will be better!
I will post pics from the Christmas train ride, Silver Dollar City, and getting ready for Christmas tomorrow.
