I just realized that I had not posted anything about Avery's first birthday! (I'm so sorry Avery!!) On Saturday, April 18th we had a small family party for Avery at home. Mommy, Daddy, Bailey, Grandma Elaine, Grandma Sheri, Grandma Jan, Grandpa Michel, Aunt Pam, Uncle Brian, Trinton, Landon, Bradley, and Aunt Megan were all there. We ate cookie cake and ice cream. I helped Avery "blow" her candles out. She opened presents and then wanted to take a nap (or needed one, she got a bit fussy after about an hour and a half of "party" time.) I am attaching some pics from her party. She turned one the following Tuesday, April 21st. By the end of April she was walking pretty good and is now more confident of herself and doesn't fuss everytime we aren't holding onto her hand. She will stand up by herself and walk by herself.
